Powerlifter Larry Wheels has become one of the most popular fitness athletes due to his insane feats of strength. After Liver King confesses to using steroids, Larry Wheels thinks it was all a set up and designed for publicity.
Internet sensation Liver King first caught the eye for his incredibly muscular physique and unique approach based on the Nine Ancient Principles. He quickly amassed over 1.7 million Instagram followers with unconventional workout methods and of course, eating raw organ meat like liver.
While many were sold on Johnson’s mission to spread the age-old lifestyle, others such as popular podcast host and UFC color commentator Joe Rogan were unconvinced. Rogan wasn’t shy about claiming King had a steroid-filled a** despite Liver King repeatedly denying those accusations.
Earlier this week, PED expert Derek of More Plates More Dates (MPMD) leaked an email that allegedly proved Liver King was indeed on steroids. The email described and listed the alleged cycle he used in June last year. Many in the fitness community were surprised to see that Liver King was spending up to $11,000 a month on growth hormone in addition to using a handful of other compounds.
Johnson posted a cryptic message saying he was “grateful” for the recent turn of events, but did not respond to Derek directly. Liver King then followed up with an apology video on his YouTube channel to clarify the situation. He confessed to using steroids and admitted that he was still using a cycle, but under the guidance of a hormone specialist.
Larry Wheels accuses Liver King of orchestrating the email leak
In a recent YouTube video, Larry Wheels alleged that Liver King planned and set up the email leak to promote his ancestral supplement brand.
“Liver King has taken the internet, specifically the fitness industry, by storm. Every channel I follow has made a Liver King video…I think it’s orchestrated. It’s just my two cents. I think this email was leaked on purpose and it was done for the reason that every channel you can think of, or at least he hoped would happen, will do a video about him and the situation. huge amount of traffic.
Wheels doesn’t believe Liver King was sincere in his apology video.
“He has a loyal fan base that will stick with him no matter what and I would say to the point of being bigoted. He just released an apology video explaining how he shouldn’t have done this, why he did what he did and for the most part he has a positive response from his fan base that seems so forgiving. I don’t think it will hurt him.
“He’s only going to grow from this and that’s why I think it’s orchestrated. Even if it wasn’t, he’s a smart man who’s come this far and he’ll take advantage of the situation to go even further.
“I don’t think his apology is valid just because of the timing. It wasn’t until he was arrested, caught in the act that he decides to apologize. Now he’s walked out without that e- mail was disclosed and apologized, but no, he got arrested and then apologized. So is that valid for me? No.”
In the past, Larry Wheels has shown the dramatic effects of steroids on his face. He shared a side-by-side comparison photo via Instagram. Since embarking on his strict TRT regimen, he seems happy with the results and added that he always has great push-ups in the gym.
Larry recently decided to stop taking steroid cycles. Instead, he only used TRT (Testosterone Replacement Therapy). So far, he hasn’t noticed any dramatic changes in his mood or strength. Last month, he showed off his insane power with a whopping 672.4 lb (305 kg) squat for six reps.
